This Cookie Policy explains how ICE uses cookies and similar technologies on the ICE website and, where applicable, in the ICE mobile application. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal information more generally.

1. WHAT COOKIES ARE
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device, keep you signed in as you move between pages, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used.

2. WHY WE USE COOKIES
We use cookies to operate the Platform, keep it secure, remember your choices, and improve how it works. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell information collected through cookies.
3. THE COOKIES WE USE
Strictly necessary cookies: Required for the Platform to function. They maintain your session after you sign in, keep your HR or Partner portal area separate from other users, protect forms against cross-site request forgery, and support load balancing. The Platform cannot operate without these, so they cannot be switched off through our interface.
Preference cookies: Remember choices you have made, such as a dismissed notice or a selected view, so you are not asked again on every visit.
Analytics cookies: Help us understand which pages and features are used, how long sessions last, and where users encounter difficulty. This information is used in aggregate to improve the Platform.
Security cookies: Support login protection, detect unusual or unauthorised activity, and help us investigate security incidents.
4. THE MOBILE APPLICATION
The ICE mobile application does not use browser cookies, but it may use similar technologies to keep you signed in, store your preferences on the device, deliver push notifications where you have permitted them, and report crashes and performance problems.
You can manage notification and other device permissions at any time through your device settings.
5. THIRD-PARTY COOKIES
Some cookies are set by the service providers that help us run the Platform, including hosting, analytics, authentication, and communication providers. Pages that embed third-party content, such as a video player or a map, may also allow that provider to set its own cookies.
Those cookies are governed by the relevant provider's own privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to review.
6. MANAGING COOKIES

7. HOW LONG COOKIES LAST
Session cookies are removed when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device until they expire or you delete them, so that your preferences and sign-in can be remembered on your next visit. We keep cookie lifetimes no longer than is necessary for the purpose they serve.

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes to the Platform, to the technologies we use, or to legal requirements. The revised policy will show an updated revision date, and where the law requires renewed consent we will obtain it before the relevant cookies are set.
